Hello everyone,
So today I am going to post a look for Rakshabandhan. Rakshabandhan is a festival of brother-sister relation and we as sister get lots of gifts and pampering specially on that day. This look is very easy to achieve and quick and easy.
I am wearing a saree here but you can wear ethnic kurti, suit or even indo-western look.
First I applied Patanjali Alovera gel on cleansed face. It is great to use It as a primer. Before this you can use a moisturiser for smooth and even
application of foundation. It will avoid patchiness and dryness. I have normal skin type but current humid season makes my chin and t-zone area oily so I skipped moisturiser and applied gel.
Next I dotted my face and neck with Blue Heaven's Florina foundation. Now this foundation itself is a primer, concealer and it also moisturise your skin well. So I dont really have any blemishes or spots but if you have any you can always conceal it for even and spotless look. I blended the foundation using my makeup brush. You may use your fingers but brush and sponge gives perfect look and helps blending it well.
For setting the foundation I used Spinz's BB powder. (review coming soon)
Now we all know BB creams but this is powder form of it which is very good to set your makeup to avoid creasing or melting your foundation.
For the eyes I kept it very simple. I lined my upper and lower lashline with Lotus colorkick liner pencil. It is very good smudge free, long lasting and black kajal. It stays put whole day without smudging. Then I applied same pencil on my water line and smudged it with smudger brush. You can use Q tip for this.
Then I applied Maybelline blush in the shade Fresh coral on my cheeks to give it nice flush of colour.
And then I applied Miss claire soft matte lip cream (no 1) on my lips. Its a very nice pink colour which is suitable for all skin tone. I have reviewed it here
Finally I applied a bindi matching my saree and accessorised it with some jewellery. So these are the pics below for my Rakshabandhan look.
